Samudra Centre offers the following programs:

The General Program (GP) introduces basic meditation practice, and presents Buddha’s teachings in a way that everyone can practice and benefit from. Various courses and subjects are offered throughout the year. No registration is required and you are free to join at anytime. Classes are open to everyone and run from 7-9 pm. The class fee is $10 per session.

The Foundation Program (FP) provides a structured and study program for those who sincerely wish to integrate dharma teachings into their daily lives. Registration is required. Attending the General Program as a means to gain a basic understanding of Buddhism is recommended as a prerequisite to joining this program. 

Special Events include day courses, retreats, empowerments, and other events that are designed to enhance the understanding and experience of what is taught in the GP and FP programs. These events are normally open for everyone to attend.

Pujasare group meditation and chanted prayers that help to greatly accelerate spiritual insight. Everyone is invited to attend. Pujas are regularly held on the 10th, 25th, and 29th of each month. Call 905.523.9533 for more details.

The Centre is one of a family of meditation centers that span the globe, and is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition, International Kadampa Buddhist Union. The NKT-IKBU is dedicated to maintaining the pure and priceless teachings of Buddha that have benefited millions of people in the last two millennia.
